common mistakes do while GYM

# It Keeps Other People in the Gym Safe

Lifting heavy loads with improper form puts you at risk of falling over or accidentally dropping the weight, which is obviously not what you want happening in a crowded gym.

And even if there are not a lot of people in the gym while you’re training, you could still cause serious damage to the equipment or the gym itself if you end up falling over or accidentally dropping the weight you’re using.

#NOT WARMING UP OR COOLING DOWN

Warming up before training functions as important prevention of injuries. Proper warming revitalizes the cardiovascular system by increasing body temperature and blood flow to the muscles. Warming up also prepares your muscles for overload during training. If the muscles are sufficiently warmed up during warm-up, this will increase the range of motion and reduce the risk of injury during exercise. Examples of a good warm-up are aerobic

exercises, such as cycling, walking, or jogging, which you should do for at least 5 to 10 minutes.
marathon runners, because it helps them regulate the flow of blood in the body after a long period of physical activity.

#OVERTRAINING

  • Overload occurs when you train at higher levels than your normal daily physical activity levels. It’s necessary to improve your physical performance. Overtraining happens when the stress from exercise and training workloads is greater than your body’s ability to recover. Full recovery from overtraining can take anywhere from days to months.
    • If your training program seems to decrease your performance instead of improving it, you’re probably overtraining. Overtraining syndrome can also lead to chronic fatigue, chronic muscle soreness, poor mental health, and other physical and psychological symptoms.

#DOING CARDIO BEFORE YOUR LIFTING SESSION

  • Combine your workouts If your focus is the strength or weight loss, then lift weights for 30-45 minutes and then do 15-20 minutes of cardio afterward and adjust your intensity as necessary. Or if your focus is on getting faster, improving stamina and endurance then do a 20-30 minute cardio workout, and then 20-30 minutes of weight lifting right after.
  • If you’re trying to lose weight or increase your strength, then doing cardio before you do your weight-lifting workout may drain your energy stores and take away from your weights session
